2005-09-29 [RabidSphinx]: i liked my GB colour...i by-passed the GB advanced because i knew they were coming out with SP later that following yeat and i HATED how the advanced was set up, all horizontal...i hated gripping it. SP closed, so the screen didn't get scratched, and it had a backlit screen, so it kicks ass. the new ones are too heavy, and high-tech for me...no thanks

2005-09-29 [RabidSphinx]: the SP is JUST like the GBC eccept it folds in 1/2 when you are not using it, it's screen is backlit so you can see better, and it can play advanced games...so really, it is a good buy...that's why i got it...because i, like you, plaied GB pocket, then colour, and i liked the colour a lot.

2005-10-03 [RabidSphinx]: i only have silver and ruby at the mment...my others were stollen... :( along with ALL my BEST pokemon on Gold....as for the bird, oh, i know how that is...Lugia was a BITCH for me...i would put it to sleep, get it down to 1HP with falsswipe, lower it's deffence with any of those attacks that doo that, and throw and ultra ball at it and it STILL would break free! my GOD! i got so frickin' MAD at the bird...what more could i do? i would try paralizig it rather than putting it to sleep, and lower it's deffence as low as it would gow, and drop it's HP to 1, and it wouldn't be caught...not with a supper ball, or master, or ultra, not with any of the specialty balls i had made...nothing worked!

2005-10-04 [FireWing]: A master should have caught it! Master ball catches withought fail....I cought Lugia with a freaking great ball. Put it to sleep dropped it to 1HP (with gastly) then threw a great ball. I guess I had it easier than you Sarah! heh

2005-10-04 [RabidSphinx]: oh, i tried my master ball...it did NOT work...(>_<) mine was faulty!!! i save the game as i'm standing in frount of the bird, so that way, if i kill it, or run out of balls, i can just turn off the game, turn it back on, and i'm right in front of the bird again, ready for another try. i got it to 1HP, paralized or put it to sleep, and droped it's defence 50 TIMES (i counted) and threw EVERY ball i had at it, including 8 greatballs, a master, 2 ultra, 21 pokeballs, and a few other specialty ones...none worked...i have not to this DAY caught that Lugia...><

2005-10-14 [GriffinDWolf]: on my gameboy i just fought all of the birds with an ice move and froze them so they couldn't attack so i could get their hp down and not be attacked and then you can use lots of pokeballs but it takes a while a a few saving and shuting off to retry but you can catch em all with a great ball or a super or whatever the older version has....did the same with my mewtwo and i still have the masterball but don't know why i never used it
